Criticizing State Government for constituting Tourism Advisory Board without taking onboard various stakeholders and experts, whose presence in the board were must for overall development and promotion of tourism industry in the State, state Congress Chief G.A.Mir has alleged Government for undermining the development and promotion of Tourism Industry due to it wrong policies.In a statement issued to KNS, Mir lamented the fact that there were many shortcomings in the Advisory Board so constituted by the government, for the fact various stakeholders who can play an effective role about promotion and overall development of Industry in the State have been left out, for the reasons known to Government.

State Congress Chief who has earlier held portfolio of tourism ministry felt apprehensive about the functioning of newly constituted Tourism Advisory Board and said that the board won’t deliver as the various stakeholders and experts with a vast knowledge on the subject have been sidelined completely.Describing  the newly Constituted Board as inept, Mir said that the Board so constituted won’t be able to address issues confronting Tourism Industry and the people connected with it, he said.PCC Chief castigated State Government for not being serious about the promotion of Tourism Industry in the State, he said.
