Minister for Revenue, Javaid Mustafa Mir today met several deputations of Chadoora constituency at civil secretariat Srinagar who apprised him about various issues confronting them.In a three hour interaction with the deputations, the Minister took stock of issues and received feedback on pace of development schemes.Responding to the grievances highlighted by the deputations, the Minister said that the focus of the government is to improve public delivery services by receiving first hand appraisal of the issues confronting the people.  The Minister stated that each issue brought to his notice is being examined and genuine grievances are redressed immediately.Issues related to Kalapora Bridge, Chadoora main Bridge, establishment of college at Chadoora, upgradation of middle school, upgradation of town drainage system and other issues were brought into his notice. The minister said that work on Kalapora Bridge is almost complete and it will be functional within a week, whereas the Managing Director JKPCC will himself inspect the work on main bridge Chadoora.The minister assured the deputations that the matter regarding establishment of college at Chadoora will be taken up with the Chief Minister and the dearth of teaching staff will also be looked into.The Minister further stated that a high level meeting of PDD department was held recently and power supply will be rationalized in rural and urban areas.
