Emphasizing upon the students to actively participate in sport activities not for personality development but also channelizing their energies in the right direction, Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga asked the budding generations to inculcate the habit of playing games in their routine work.Speaking at the closing ceremony of CBSE North Zone – I Taekwondo Championship organized at the premises of J K Public School Kunjwani, here today the Minister stressed the need for actively participating in the sports activities which he said is vital personality, physique and mental development of a human being. He said the youth of our nation have proved their metal in various fields in the world and it is the need of the time to train our youth in a manner in which they can compete with others.

Chander Prakash Ganga lauded the efforts of the school administration for organizing such a big event and said that it will go a long way in channelizing the energies of youth towards positive direction and constructive thinking.Ganga also distributed the prizes to the winners of various categories of the championship and urged the players to develop sportsmanship in them which would mould them as the best person.The overall best school Girls was bagged by the J K Public School Kunjwani while Mount Caramel Dwarka clinched the overall boys trophy.Chairman of J K Educational Society Raj Daluja, District officer Jammu, Sukhdev Raj Sharma besides teachers of various schools and students were present on the occassion.Earlier the Minister inaugurated the Nirmal Sai Electric Showroom and a hand pump in ward no 3 near SIDCO chowk in Bari Brahman.
