RBI organizes All India Inter School Quiz programme at Srinagar

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in collaboration with Education Department today organized an All India Inter School Quiz Programme at Government College of Education Srinagar.Number of Students representing various schools of the valley participated in the quiz.Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Mushtaq Ahmad was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Regional Director RBI D. Sethi, Principal, Government College of Education, Srinagar, Dr. Maqsooda Khan and other officers of Reserve Bank of India and Education Department were also present.Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Bank congratulated RBI for conducting such a quiz programme which will go a long way in enhancing the spirit of competition and the greater knowledge among young students. He said that taking cue from RBI, Jammu and Kashmir Bank will also organize such informative quiz programmes for students across the state.Regional Director, RBI while speaking on the occasion said that the aim of the quiz programme is to inculcate general knowledge among the students with special reference to financial literacy. He said that such programmes will be conducted at block and district levels.Students of various educational institutions also exhibited their talent in various cultural and literary activities during the programme.The function ended with a prize distribution function in which cash awards and certificates were distributed among the winners and participants.
