In order to listen to the problems of the people, Minister of State for Fisheries, Cooperatives, Finance and Planning Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, convened a public grievances camp at Government Middle School Kot in Kishanpur Panchayat of Tehsil Billawar.The people apprised the Minister about their problems and demands which were mainly related to the provisions of road connectivity, safe drinking water, anganwari centres, health sub centres, up gradation of transformers, school building and uninterrupted power supply.Dr. Sharma assured the people that all issues highlighted by them would be looked into on priority basis.The Minister, while speaking on the occasion, said that coalition government is committed for development of kandi and hilly areas.The Minister said that Rs. 7.50 lakh have already been provided for construction of 3 rooms in government middle school Koti. He said that demands of health sub-centres and hand pumps will be met soon. He directed PDD for improving Bakhatpur power supply line.Among others SDM Billawar, Tehsildar, District and tehsil level officers’ panch, sarpanchs and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
