Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Samoon convened a meeting with all District Development Commissioners and CEO’s of all Tourist Development Authorities of valley to review the sanitation campaign being started from October 07, 2015 as directed by the Chief Minister during his visit to Gulmarg.The Divisional Commissioner directed all the concerned to start the campaign vigorously in their concerned government departments, educational institutions, municipal committees, civil societies and NGO’s. He also stressed upon for sanitation campaign through print and electronic media. He also directed utilization of banners and hoardings at specific places to give wide publicity to the said programme so that more and more people could be involved.The Divisional Commissioner also directed initiating another sanitation programme by Municipal Committees around the tourist places in their respective areas.
