Reiterating the commitment of government to ensure adequate and timely supply of ration to the people, the Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology, Pawan Kumar Gupta said that efforts are being made to streamline the distribution of ration.Interacting with media persons at Udhampur today, Mr. Gupta said that it would be ensured that the public receives adequate and prescribed supply of ration.He directed Assistant Director CAPD to ensure that quality ration is provided to the people in adequate quantity.He also informed that a new amusement park would soon be developed in the town for which the land has already been identified and directed the concerned officers to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR).

Later, MoS met deputation from Jib area and listened to their problems regarding water supply, electricity and other related issues. The Minister after giving a patient hearing to the demands and problems of the people directed the concerned officers to take necessary steps immediately to redress their genuine grievances. He also called upon the people to get themselves aware about the different schemes of the government and avail the benefits of those schemes.Executive Engineer PHE, AD CA&PD Joginder Singh, CEO Municipal Council Udhampur , K K Chalotra besides others were also present on the occasion.
