Navin Agarwal, took over the charge of Additional Director General of Police (Trainings), in Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today.A 1986 batch IPS officer Mr. Agarwal has served the State in various capacities including SSP Pulwama, Rajouri, Leh and CID, DIG Doda-Udhampur Range, CID and Police Telecommunication, IGP Armed, Home-Guards and Director SKPA, ADGP Security, DG Prisons and most recently DG Youth Services & Sports. Mr. Agarwal during his 30 years service has been awarded prestigious President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Sher-i-Kashmir Police Medal for Meritorious Service, besides Director’s Commendation Certificate for being over all best officer by National Police Academy (NPA) Hyderabad.
