Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology, Pawan Kumar Gupta today inaugurated newly constructed central drain cum Lane at Adarsh colony of Ward No 3.The Central drain cum lane was constructed by Town drainage division of Urban Local bodies, Jammu at an approximate cost of Rs 4.4 lacs.The Minister said that he has fulfilled the long pending demand of the people of Adarsh Colony regarding construction of Central drain cum lane. Mr. Gupta assured the people that all their genuine demands would be redressed in a time bound manner. He said that every possible step would be taken for the fulfillment of their demands and overall development of the area. He added that the state Government is committed to provide improved basic facilities to the people of the area at their doorsteps. He gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers and asked them to work with dedication and sincerity and redress the public grievances on priority.Among others, officers of the concerned department, prominent citizens and people of the area were also present on the occasion.
