President National Conference Dr. Farooq Abdullah Tuesday said that NC will continue its struggle to seek political stability and lasting peace in the State adding that power has never been the objective of National Conference but a means to seek peaceful and developed Jammu and Kashmir.Addressing a gathering of party workers, who called on him here today led by Provincial Spokesman and Constituency In-charge Kulgam Mr. Imran Nabi Dar, Dr. Farooq Abdullah reminded the party rank and file of the greatest sacrifices made by National Conference and its leadership to uphold communal amity, regional unity, equitable opportunity of growth, inclusive development and permanent peace in the state.Dr. Abdullah said that the political and development policy of National Conference enshrined in its vision document of “Naya Kashmir” provides a viable and befitting road map for the equitable development of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh besides political stability and lasting peace.

He said the animosity between the two neighbors is highly detrimental to the peace, and all its brunt has to be borne by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
