The scheme is implemented through Non -Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Societies, Trust etc. The scheme provides one week training programmes followed by Handholding for one year. The training is provided on various Training modules cover issues relating to women viz. So far, more than 1.67 lakh women have been trained in 24 States with an amount of about Rs. 36 Crore in last three years.Since the scheme has public interface, there was a felt need to develop an online system for application, screening of application, receipt of documents, check loss of documents due to postal or human negligence, curtail procedural delays etc., to bring in transparency and accountability in the system.
