Feroz reviews education scenario in Poonch

During the tour of District Poonch, Minister of State School Education, Mr. Feroz Ahmed Khan, convened the review meeting of school education department district Poonch at Dak Bunglow Poonch. Ajaz Ahmed Jan MLA Haveli was also present in the meeting.The main agenda of the meeting was to review the functioning of School Education Department especially the central sponsored schemes under RMSA and SSA. He also stressed upon the education offices to construct toilet blocks in schools and provide drinking water facilities to the students in various schools at an earliest.Mr. Feroz told that the land for 5 model schools measuring 40 kanal for each school has been identified, adding that as per matrix mapping 162 new primary schools, 60 upper primary schools, 69 High Schools and 32 Higher Secondary Schools have been proposed for upgradation under SSA and RMSA.

The Minister in his address assured for establishing of one fully equipped computer lab in centrally located   High/Higher Secondary Schools of the district Poonch with the sponsorship of Science and Technology Department and directed CEO Poonch to initiate the process in this regard.
