The 15th International Symposium of the World Society of Victimology was held in Perth, Western Australia at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 5-9 July 2015. The Symposium saw many International and Australian presenters from the broader discipline of Victimology and bring them together through this platform. It is also a community that is at the forefront of victim services in Australia. The event was very successful as people from all the sectors came across and attended the event. Famous Criminal Psychologist cum Victimologist Mrs. Anuja Kapur also graced the occasion by her presence. Mrs. Kapur was very delighted after attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Kapur said,” I feel privileged and honored to attend this event where people across the globe attended the event and  these types of events help to build an organisation where need of awarenness towards victimology is needed. This is the first time when Mrs. Kapur marked her presence in this type of event and she is looking forward for future programmes like this”.The 15th International Symposium of The World Society of Victimology was witnessed Dr. Adam Tomison, Director, Australian Institute of Criminology and Mr. Michael O’Connell, Commissioner for victims’ Rights and Secretary General of WSV. The Symposium was organised by the WSV, Victim Support Australia, angelhands and the Australian Institute of Criminology.
