In a passionate speech in Qadian, Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa fiercely criticized both the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab and the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the center. The event was organized to support Gurdaspur candidate Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.
Bajwa accused the AAP government of numerous unfulfilled promises and governance failures. He highlighted a significant promise by AAP, stating, "The AAP government promised a monthly pension of Rs 1000 to women in Punjab but has failed to deliver, leaving many women stranded."
This broken promise has been a major point of contention, affecting the trust and expectations of many citizens.Further criticizing the AAP, Bajwa noted the lack of female representation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
It is shocking and disappointing that the AAP has not given a single ticket to a woman candidate in Punjab for the Lok Sabha elections, clearly showing their disregard for gender equality and women's empowerment," he stated. This omission has raised questions about the party's commitment to inclusive and representative politics.
Addressing the deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab, Bajwa remarked, "Under the AAP's administration, law and order have significantly degraded. Crime and lawlessness are on the rise, and the government seems incapable of restoring peace and security in the state." This criticism underscores growing public concerns about safety and governance in Punjab.
Turning his attention to the central government, Bajwa condemned the BJP for its controversial candidate selections. "The BJP has stooped to a new low by giving a ticket to the son of Brij Bhushan Singh, notorious for harassing national women players.
This act insults the values of decency and respect we should uphold for our athletes and women," he asserted. This accusation reflects broader dissatisfaction with the BJP's handling of issues related to women's safety and dignity.
Additionally, Bajwa outlined key guarantees that the Congress party is committed to delivering if elected in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections:
Women’s Empowerment: Congress guarantees a yearly Rs 1 lakh per annum for women of families at the lower end of the pyramid.
Employment Opportunities: Congress commits to filling 30 lakh vacancies within the first year of governance, focusing on youth employment and skill development programs to boost economic growth and reduce unemployment.
Agricultural Support: Congress promises to make Minimum Support Price (MSP) a legal guarantee for crops, provide direct subsidies to farmers, and ensure timely financial aid disbursement to support the agrarian community.
Healthcare: Congress guarantees free quality healthcare services to all and Rs 25 lakh health insurance for every citizen, as provided by the party in Rajasthan.
Bajwa's address was met with enthusiastic support from the crowd, signaling strong backing for the Congress party. In his concluding remarks, Bajwa urged the people to vote for Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.

ਕਾਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਆਪ) ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਭਾਜਪਾ) ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਸੁਖਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਹਮਾਇਤ ਲਈ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ 'ਆਪ' ਸਰਕਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਕਈ ਅਧੂਰੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਫ਼ਲਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 'ਆਪ' ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਆਪ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ 1000 ਰੁਪਏ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਫ਼ਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਫਸ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।" ਇਹ ਟੁੱਟਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਬਿੰਦੂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
'ਆਪ' ਦੀ ਹੋਰ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਨੋਟ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਇਹ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾਜਨਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ 'ਆਪ' ਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਟਿਕਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜੋ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਲਿੰਗ ਸਮਾਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਣਦੇਖੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।" ਇਸ ਭੁੱਲ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਵੇਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਗੜ ਰਹੀ ਅਮਨ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਕੀਤੀ, "ਆਪ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਨ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨਿਘਾਰ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਅਪਰਾਧ ਵਧਦਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਮਰੱਥ ਜਾਪਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਜਨਤਕ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੇਖਾਂਕਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਵਾਦਪੂਰਨ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਲਈ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਭੂਸ਼ਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਟਿਕਟ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਨੀਵੀਂ ਥਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ਾਲੀਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।" ਇਹ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਅਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਗਾਰੰਟੀ ਦੀ ਰੂਪਰੇਖਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚੁਣੇ ਜਾਣ 'ਤੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ:
ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ : ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਗ਼ਰੀਬੀ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਲੇ ਸਿਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ 1 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਗਰੰਟੀ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ : ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ 30 ਲੱਖ ਖਾਲੀ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ, ਆਰਥਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੇਂਦਰਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਸਮਰਥਨ : ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮੁੱਲ (ਐੱਮ. ਐੱਸ. ਪੀ.) ਨੂੰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਗਾਰੰਟੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ, ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਧੀਆਂ ਸਬਸਿਡੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ, ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਿਹਤ : ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਲਈ 25 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਬੀਮਾ ਦੀ ਗਾਰੰਟੀ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਬਾਜਵਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਜੋ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਖਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
