NSF protest against DSW, Marched towards the VC chamber

National Secular Forum (NSF) protests against Dean Students Welfare for the security failure and security lapses in the University Campus. Large number of students and scholars under the leadership of Sukhdev Singh NSF president assembled outside the Dean Students Welfare and protested.Addressing the gathered student NSF president said that DSW has never been on his duty in the office and has done nothing to provide security to the students. He has not been able to respond whenever has been contacted.Further NSF president said that all the applications of complaints submitted to the DSW are never even noticed and nothing has been done in the favour of the students for this. Also, there is no record available in the DSW of all the applications of complains received by the DSW.Further, all the protesting students and scholars marched towards the VC chamber and protested outside the chamber also.

Here, Sukhdev Singh urged to VC to provide all the applications of complaint which were once submitted in the DSW and immediately take action against the all the officials which have been booked for the enquiry at present and in the recent past also for example TBS etc.Sukhdev Singh warned VC Jammu University to take some immediate actions against the Director TBS without providing shelter to her because every evidence is against the Director TBS which have been unrevealed by the RTI’s sleeked by the NSF.Among those who were present in the protest included Qayoom Malik, Barket Ali, Ajaz Shah, Sanjeev Kumar, Pavinder Singh, Pushpinder Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Vijay Kumar all students and scholars of Jammu University and others.
