Today held the meeting under the Chairmanship of Sukhdev Singh National Secular Forum President in University Campus and checked out the problems that are being faced by the students. In which meeting framed a body for University.Qayoom Malik has been appointed as President NSF University Unit. J.V.Singh Manhas was appointed as Chairman. Balwinder Singh was appointed as Working President. Vijay Chouhan was appointed as Vice-Chairman, Anil Kumar was appointed as Sr.Vice-President.Palvi Verma, Avtar Singh, Manpreet Kour, and Gurpreet Kour, was appointed as Vice-President.Indu Bala and Yougal Chouhan were appointed as General Secretary. Sarvat Ahmed, Joginder Kumar, Shahnaz Aktar were appointed as Secretary. Haroon Rashid appointed as Press-Secretary. Mukthar was appointed as Cashier. Mushtaq Wajhat was appointed as Publicity Secretary.Imtiyaz Ahmed, Pawan Kumar, Anees Charak, Sanjeev Kumar, Javed Iqbal, Sunil Sharma, Babeeta, Sanjogta, Bharti, and others were elected members.
Addressing the meeting, Sukhdev Singh President NSF, welcomed all the members in the organization and hoped that they will work unitedly for the organization. He said that the Forum is a non political, non religious and non Governmental organization which is working for the poor and weaker sections of a society in general and student community in particular.Sukhdev Singh said that the CUJ administration was ignoring the youth of Jammu region in jobs and jobs are being awarded to non-Jammuties thereby the CUJ, V-C was playing with the emotions and sentiments of Jammuties.He also show there resentment against delay in coming up construction work in Central University of Jammu and no check accountability in functioning of Central University Jammu.The NSF president said if Government does not take action against the concerned officers, their activists will stage dharna and subsequently start agitation to force the Government to initiate action.Others who spoke on the occasion include Ajaz Shah, Barket Tahir, Vikram Madyal, and others.
