Senior leader of the Shiromani Akali and MLA Mr. Jasjit Singh Bunny has announced to full participate in the election campaign in favour of party candidate Mr. NK Sharma from Derabassi assembly seat.
He announced this decision in the presence of party President and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal who visited the residence of Capt. Kanwaljit Singh today. On the occasion Youth wing President and former minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majhithia, party candidate from Derabassi Mr. NK Sharma, Incharge of media Committee of SAD Mr. Harcharan Singh Bains and Derabassi leader Mr. Mukesh Rana was also present.
Mr. Jasjit Singh Bunny said that Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal is like political father to him and whatever decision has been taken by him and Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal in the interest of the his family and party, it was acceptable to him and he would abide by it.
Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal on the occasion said that SAD-BJP alliance was set to sweep the present assembly elections and after formation of government Mr. Jasjit Singh Bunny would be suitably adjusted in the government. He also exhorted all the leaders and workers of the party to work hard for ensuing the clean sweep of the alliance.
Thanking Mr. Bunny for his support Mr. NK Sharma said that he had cordial relations with the family of late Capt. Kanwaljit Singh and decision of Mr. Bunny would boost his campaing and hoped that Mr. Bunny would came forward to handle his election campaign.
