AAP ahead in Delhi, say exit polls

The AAP is ahead of its rivals and has the most chances of taking power in Delhi, exit polls said Saturday evening after assembly elections ended.The India Today-Cicero poll gave Aam Aadmi Party 35-43 of the 70 seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 23-29 and the Congress three to five seats.Any party will need at least 36 seats to form a government in Delhi.Based on voting until 3 p.m., the C-Voter exit poll gave the AAP 31-39 seats, the BJP 27-35 and the Congress two to four seats.The AAP and the BJP were widely seen as the principal contenders for power in Delhi.
