Uchana (Jind) , 09 Oct 2014

Last updated on: Oct 09, 2014, 00:00 IST

After the formation of the INLD government in Haryana, the Uchana segment would be made role model in terms of development. Making this announcement at the village Rajkhera, Ghogrian, Kehsun, Kalta, Bhonsla, Mohgarh, Dhankheri and Bhadana, the INLD candidate Dushyant Chautala said that despite being classified in category of VVIP areas, Uchana still cries for the lack of development. “Till date, Uchana has been struggling for the basic civic amenities. People do not have proper access to drinking water and electricity. The state of the health and education sector is in shambles. The time has come to transform the fortunes of Uchana. Once INLD government assumes power, immediate steps would be taken to ensure that the level of education being imparted in the government schools must be at par with that of the private schools”, said Dushyant.

He further said that apart from opening the Colleges for the boys and girls in Uchana, the INLD would also bring engineering and management institutes of national standards in Uchana. “These institutes would provide the youth of Uchana to study in premier institutes so that they can get good jobs to sustain their livelihood”, he said, while adding that the unemployed youth would be provided unemployment allowance. Expressing his views on the health institutes in Uchana, Dushyant said, “During the past ten years, the Congress government did nothing to make sure that the people get good health services. The hospitals are not having the requisite number of the doctors. Many of the health institutes have just become white elephant for the want of doctors. The infrastructure requirement has been completely ignored by Hooda regime.

Our aim will be to recruit the staff in the hospitals and make sure that people get proper medical facilities. A 100-bedded hospital will be set up in Uchana besides opening a medical college once INLD forms government.” Taking a dig at Birender Singh, the INLD leader said that despite presence of Birender, the Uchana segment was accorded step-motherly treatment. “There is problem of lack of transportation in Uchana. Several villages do not have access to the buses. This issue would also be taken care off and INLD would ensure that all the people residing in the segment get access to the government buses”, he added.
