INLD leader and party candidate from Uchana assembly segment, Dushyant Chautala today said that former Congress leader Chaudhary Birender Singh who has recently joined BJP, has been cornered and overpowered by the long pending desire of his wife Prem Lata, to become an MLA and that is why Chaudhary Birender himself had keep away from contesting the polls.Claiming this in while addressing series of meetings in Uchana, Dushyant said that Prem Lata had dreamt of becoming a MLA long time back and under this pressure, Chaudhary Birender was bowed down by his own wife and had to sacrifice his candidature from Uchana assembly seat.

“People of Uchana knows Prem Lata quite closely and they know that when Birender was in Congress and was a minister, how the honourable lady used to misuse the power of her husband. Public is also completely aware how Prem Lata instead of using the political clout of her husband, instead, used it for the development of her relatives and close known persons and gave them financial benefits. Look at the irony, BJP has given ticket to that women who is having no vision for the people of the assembly segment,” said Dushyant. He also claimed that the BJP candidate Prem Lata is having no vision to show to the youth, farmers, women and educated class of the assembly segment and if one ask her plans for the farming, lack of development in the area and other issue, she prefers to remain mum.

“That is why like last assembly polls, the people of Uchana are going to defeat Chaudhary Birender’s family as they are aware that this family visits the public only during elections. Whereas, the Chautala family has always nurtured Uchana as their home and its people as their family members,” said Dushyant.

The INLD MP questions that Chaudhary Birender, who claims himself to be tall standing leader of Haryana, must answer the public, why he decided not to contest the polls this time. “People wants to know, if he was under pressure from his wife, as she was desperately desiring to enter into politics or the former Congress leader was scared of loosing on the hands of Chautala family. The INLD MP also congratulated Asian Games Gold Medal winner in Archery, Sandeep, who is a native of Bambhejva village of Jind district for his achievement.  The Gold Medal Winner met Dushyant in the day.
