14 new `Aam Aadmi Clinics` dedicated to the people in Amritsar district

With the aim of expanding the scope of health services and making them stronger under the health revolution being run by the Punjab government, 14 new `Aam Aadmi Clinics` have been started and dedicated to the people in Amritsar district. 

As part of the series of formal inaugurations of 100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics in the state by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and State Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, these clinics were also dedicated to the service of the people in different assembly constituencies of Amritsar district today.

These new clinics were inaugurated at different places by MLA Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta, MLA Madam Jeevanjot Kaur and Halqa Incharge Shri Karamjit Singh Rintu.The 14 main locations where Aam Aadmi Clinics have been started in Amritsar district include Arya Samaj Mandir, Central Jail, Kangra Colony, Labour Colony (Khandwala), Baba Deep Singh Colony (Nangli), Mule Chak, Near Arya Samaj School, New Amritsar, Sant Channan Singh Colony, South City, Shri Guru Hargobind Stadium (Daburji Link Road), Ward No. 10 (Ganda Singh Wala), Ward No. 12 (Tung Bala).

Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta, MLA Madam Jeevanjot Kaur and Shri Karamjit Singh Rintu said that these Aam Aadmi Clinics will play an important role in providing high quality primary health facilities to the common people very close to their homes. He said that free medical check-up, essential medicines and lab tests will be made available in these clinics. He said that the common people have got a big relief with the start of Aam Aadmi Clinic.

On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rashmi Talwar, Central Jail Superintendent Rajiv Kumar Arora, District Family Welfare Officer Dr. Neelam Bhagat, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Sarabjit Singh, District Health Officer Dr. Manjit Singh Rataul, Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr. Naresh Kumar, District MEIO Amardeep Singh, Nodal Officer Dr. Vaneet Kaur, Dr. Pankaj Bhatti, Dr. Maninder Singh along with all the staff and other dignitaries were present.
