Reaffirming the Punjab Government’s commitment to providing accessible, quality and free healthcare services to every citizen, MLA from Amritsar East Assembly Constituency, Ms. Jeevanjot Kaur, today inaugurated and dedicated two new Aam Aadmi Clinics to the public in Ward No. 35 (New Amritsar) and Ward No. 25 (Kangra Colony).
With the inauguration of these two clinics, the total number of Aam Aadmi Clinics in the constituency has increased from six to eight.Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Jeevanjot Kaur said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to ensuring that every citizen has access to free, quality and affordable healthcare services.
She said the newly inaugurated clinic at 7 Acre Park, New Amritsar, will greatly benefit the residents of Ward No. 35 by providing healthcare facilities close to their homes, while the clinic at Kangra Colony will ensure convenient access to quality medical services for the residents of Ward No. 25.
The MLA said that the Aam Aadmi Clinics provide a comprehensive range of essential healthcare services, including free medical consultations, free diagnostic laboratory tests and free medicines, thereby reducing the financial burden of treatment on the common people and ensuring timely medical care.
She further stated that the Punjab Government is continuously strengthening the public healthcare system and expanding the network of Aam Aadmi Clinics across the state to make quality healthcare accessible to every household.Addressing the gathering, Ms. Jeevanjot Kaur said, “The health and well-being of our people remain our highest priority.
These newly dedicated clinics will ensure timely medical treatment for residents while significantly reducing their healthcare expenses.”A large number of local residents, prominent citizens, leaders and workers of the Aam Aadmi Party, and officials of the Health Department were present on the occasion.
