Punjab Horticulture Minister Mr. Mohinder Bhagat reviewed the progress of the Horticulture Development Centre under construction at Ludhiana and directed the officials to expedite the work and ensure its completion within the stipulated timeframe. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is fully committed to promoting horticulture, encouraging crop diversification and enhancing the income of farmers. 

To achieve these objectives, modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities are being developed across the state. The Cabinet Minister said that the Horticulture Development Centre being established at Ludhiana will play a vital role in providing farmers with high-quality planting material, modern horticultural technologies, training and technical guidance. 

He added that the centre will give a new direction to the development of the horticulture sector in the state. Mr. Bhagat also directed the officials to regularly monitor the construction work and ensure the highest standards of quality. He emphasized that no compromise would be tolerated on the quality of the development works.
