Reaffirming the Punjab Government's commitment to public welfare and transparent employment opportunities for youth, MLA from Baba Bakala Sahib Assembly Constituency, S. Dalbir Singh Tong, today distributed appointment letters to 13 newly appointed Anganwadi Workers selected for various villages of the Baba Bakala Sahib constituency under Mission Poshan 2.0 and the Anganwadi Services Scheme at his camp office.

Addressing the gathering, S. Dalbir Singh Tong said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is providing government jobs strictly on the basis of merit, without any recommendation, favouritism or corruption. He said the government's objective is to ensure that every deserving candidate gets an equal opportunity for employment based solely on hard work and merit, thereby strengthening public confidence in the recruitment process.

Congratulating the newly appointed Anganwadi Workers, the MLA urged them to discharge their duties with honesty, dedication and a spirit of service. He said that Anganwadi Workers play a vital role in delivering nutrition and healthcare services to children, pregnant women and lactating mothers and in effectively implementing the objectives of Mission Poshan 2.0 at the grassroots level.

He further stated that the Punjab Government remains committed to the welfare of every section of society and is ensuring transparent implementation of public welfare schemes while creating greater employment opportunities for the youth. Among those present on the occasion were CDPO, Block Rayya, Jaspreet Singh, officials and employees of the department, Vishal Sharma, and other dignitaries.
