OSD to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Sukhveer Singh, today heard public grievances during a grievance redressal programme held at the Chief Minister Facilitation Centre, Dhuri. He reviewed issues pertaining to the Revenue, Rural Development, Municipal Council, Power, Water Supply, Social Security and several other departments, and directed the concerned officials to ensure their prompt, transparent and time-bound resolution.

Addressing the gathering, OSD Sukhveer Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is firmly committed to providing transparent, accountable and corruption-free governance. He said the Chief Minister Facilitation Centre have been established to provide citizens with a single-window platform for registering their grievances and to ensure their expeditious redressal within a stipulated timeframe.

He said the government has issued clear instructions that no citizen should be compelled to make repeated visits to government offices for the resolution of genuine grievances. Every officer, he added, has been entrusted with the responsibility of dealing with public complaints with utmost seriousness and ensuring their disposal within the prescribed time limit.

Timely delivery of public services and effective grievance redressal, he said, remain among the government's highest priorities. OSD Sukhveer Singh further stated that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is personally monitoring the redressal of public grievances to ensure that people receive prompt, efficient and satisfactory services.

He said complaints received through the Chief Minister Facilitation Centre are reviewed regularly so that citizens can benefit from a responsive and people-centric administrative system. Reiterating the government's commitment to public welfare, he instructed the officials to resolve grievances that could be addressed on the spot without delay, while ensuring immediate action in cases requiring further processing.

He emphasised that public satisfaction is the true benchmark of good governance and that negligence or unnecessary delay in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated. Among those present on the occasion were Waqf Board Member Dr. Anwar Bhassaur, Chief Minister's Field Officer Arvind Kumar, Ramandeep Singh and officers from various departments, who initiated necessary action on the grievances raised by the public and assured their early resolution.
