Daily public interaction meetings (Lok Milni) are being organized by MLA from Jandiala Guru constituency and Punjab Public Works Minister S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. with the objective of maintaining direct contact with the people of the constituency and resolving their issues on the spot. In this connection, public meetings were organized today in the villages of Gadli, Rana Kala, Jabbowal, Suro Padda, Choong, Mehta Chowk and Buttar Khurd.
A large number of people participated in these meetings and, owing to the tremendous enthusiasm and overwhelming public response, these village-level gatherings took the shape of large public rallies. The people accorded a warm welcome to Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. and appreciated the development works and public welfare initiatives being undertaken by the Punjab Government.
Addressing the gatherings, Public Works Minister S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. said that the love, respect and trust bestowed upon him by the people of Jandiala Guru constituency are his greatest strength. He said that ensuring the overall development of the constituency and improving the standard of living of every family remain his foremost priorities.
He further stated that the Punjab Government is continuously working to strengthen the education and healthcare sectors and that significant improvements are also being made in these areas in Jandiala Guru constituency. He added that extensive work related to roads, sewerage, drinking water supply and other infrastructure projects is progressing rapidly across the constituency and will be completed soon.
Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. said that the Aam Aadmi Party Government has worked honestly to fulfil its electoral promises and guarantees. He added that the affection and support being received from the people during these public meetings clearly indicate that the Aam Aadmi Party will register an even bigger victory in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
He further stated that maintaining direct contact with the people and ensuring prompt resolution of their problems is an important part of the Punjab Government's style of governance and that such public interaction meetings will continue in the future as well.
