Aam Aadmi Party's State Chief Spokesperson, MLA and former Punjab Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann will specially visit Sehnsra Kalan village in the Ajnala Assembly constituency on July 18 to hold a public interaction programme (Lok Milni) aimed at directly engaging with the people, understanding their concerns and ensuring administrative resolution of pressing issues on the spot.
Giving details, S. Dhaliwal said that meetings have been held with senior district and sub-division level administrative officers to give final shape to the arrangements for the programme. He also visited the venue at Sehnsra Kalan along with Deputy Commissioner Amritsar S. Dalwinderjit Singh, SDM Ajnala Dr. Charumita, District Public Relations Officer Mr. Inderjit Singh and other officials to review the preparations.
He further stated that responsibilities for the successful conduct of the programme have been assigned to councillors, ward in-charges and party leaders from the rural areas of the constituency as well as from the urban units of Ajnala and Ramdas.
S. Dhaliwal said that the objective of these public interaction programmes (Lok Milni) being organised by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is to inform people about the public welfare initiatives and achievements of the Punjab Government during the past four and a half years, while also seeking feedback and suggestions directly from citizens.
He said that these programmes are receiving an overwhelming response across Punjab and that people are appreciating the government's pro-people policies and decisions. He expressed confidence that the public interaction programme (Lok Milni) scheduled for July 18 at Sehnsra Kalan would further strengthen support for the party across the 25 Assembly constituencies of the Majha region.
