Punjab Public Works Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO today formally inaugurated the special repair work of the Jandiala–Wairowal Road to Pakhoke via Dargah Baba Sheikh Fatta Ji link road. The road, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Punjab Mandi Board, Tarn Taran District (Market Committee Tarn Taran), is 6.55 kilometres long and 10 feet wide. The project will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.82 crore within a period of six months.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, S. Harbhajan Singh ETO said that the repair of the road will greatly benefit thousands of local residents, farmers and daily commuters by providing safer and smoother connectivity. He said that quality road infrastructure forms the backbone of economic and social development, and the Punjab Government is continuously working to strengthen the state's infrastructure.

The Minister said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party Government has made historic efforts over the past four and a half years to strengthen Punjab's basic infrastructure. Development works are being carried out across the state without any discrimination or delay, ensuring that the benefits reach people in every region.

He further stated that Punjab is emerging as one of the leading states in the country in terms of infrastructure development. The government remains committed to providing better roads, bridges and other public infrastructure to improve the quality of life of the people.

Speaking about the development of the Jandiala Guru Assembly constituency, S. Harbhajan Singh ETO said that development works are progressing rapidly in every village of the constituency. He remarked that previous governments had neglected the constituency for years, but since the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party Government, all-round development has been ensured. Today, Jandiala Guru has emerged as one of the leading Assembly constituencies of the state in terms of development.

The Minister also directed the concerned officials to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining the highest standards of quality. He warned that any negligence or delay in the execution of development works would not be tolerated.
