Tata Chemicals Limited (TCL) and the Advanced Veterinary Care Foundation (AVCF), operating as Small Animal Hospital, Mumbai (SAHM), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on advancing the science of pet nutrition and companion animal health.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to enhancing the well-being of companion animals by combining SAHM's deep clinical expertise and compassionate approach to small animal healthcare with Tata Chemicals' robust capabilities in scientific research, ingredient innovation, and product development.

Science-Led Approach to Emerging Pet Nutrition Needs

With growing awareness among pet owners about the critical role of nutrition in animal health, TCL and SAHM aim to collaboratively identify unmet needs in pet nutrition and translate these insights into science-based, evidence-driven solutions.

The collaboration will leverage Tata Chemicals' advanced R&D capabilities across ingredient science, prebiotic nutrition, and formulation development, alongside SAHM's frontline clinical expertise and understanding of therapeutic interventions in small animals.

Driving Better Outcomes for Companion Animal Well-being

Through this partnership, TCL and SAHM seek to contribute to improved digestive health, nutrition, and overall quality of life for companion animals, while addressing the evolving expectations of pet owners for scientifically validated nutrition solutions.

The collaboration will remain firmly anchored in scientific excellence and ethical rigor. Any future testing or validation of developed solutions, if required, will be undertaken independently through accredited veterinary institutions in full compliance with applicable ethical and regulatory standards.
