Punjab Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Minister S. Hardeep Singh Mundian today met representatives of the Numberdar Union, listened to their demands and assured that their legitimate concerns would be addressed on a priority. During the meeting, representatives of the Numberdar Union demanded that a dedicated day be reserved exclusively for Numberdars to obtain health cards under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana (MMSY).

Responding to this, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian said that he would instruct all Deputy Commissioners to designate a special day for issuing health cards to Numberdars for their convenience. He added that a letter would soon be sent to all Deputy Commissioners directing them to reserve one day specifically for this purpose.
