Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today met several public delegations and individuals at Srinagar and listened to their issues and demands pertaining to the Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs departments.

The delegations, representing different areas, apprised the Minister of various public issues requiring immediate attention. They also projected several developmental demands and sought timely intervention for the resolution of matters.

The Minister gave a patient hearing to all the deputations and individuals, assuring them that every genuine issue would be examined on merit and addressed in a transparent and time-bound manner. He reiterated that the government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, remains steadfast in its commitment to provide efficient public services and ensuring that developmental benefits reach every section of society.

Javed Rana directed the concerned officers to promptly process the representations received during the interaction and ensure their swift disposal. He stressed the need for maintaining close coordination with the field functionaries so that public grievances are resolved efficiently and without unnecessary delay.

The Minister emphasized that regular interaction with the people is vital for responsive governance and enables the Government to identify local issues, assess developmental priorities and deliver effective solutions at the grassroots level. He reaffirmed that public outreach and timely grievance redressal will continue to remain among the government's key priorities.
