Attari MLA Jaswinder Singh Ramdas today inaugurated a newly constructed gym at Village Hair in the Attari Assembly constituency. The modern fitness facility has been established by the Punjab Government at a cost of ₹5 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Jaswinder Singh Ramdas said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is making continuous efforts to encourage youth towards sports and a healthy lifestyle.

He said that providing modern sports and fitness infrastructure in rural areas is one of the government's key priorities so that young people remain physically fit and stay away from the menace of drugs.

He informed that the Punjab Government has spent ₹5 lakh on setting up the gym at Village Hair.

The facility has been equipped with modern fitness equipment, which will greatly benefit the youth of the village as well as those from nearby areas.The MLA further said that the Punjab Government is committed to the overall development of the Attari Assembly constituency and that development works are being carried out continuously in accordance with the needs and aspirations of the people.

He urged the residents to make full use of the gym and motivate the younger generation to adopt a healthy and disciplined lifestyle.Village Panchayat members, prominent citizens, youth and officials from various departments were also present on the occasion.
