A five-day Peace Education Programme for Inner Capacity Building commenced today at Town Hall Doda. The programme is organised by District Administration Doda in collaboration with The Prem Rawat Foundation to promote emotional well-being, self-awareness, inner strength and a positive work environment among government employees and staff of educational institutions.
The workshop features interactive sessions built around ten key themes: peace, appreciation, inner strength, self-awareness, clarity, understanding, dignity, choice, hope and contentment. The sessions aim to enhance leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, resilience, decision-making abilities, work-life balance and citizen-centric public service.
Addressing the participants, the Deputy Commissioner Krishan Lal said that effectively managing stress, anxiety and other emotional challenges improves personal well-being and professional efficiency and that inner peace and emotional resilience are essential for delivering responsive, compassionate and quality public services.
Such initiatives, he added, enable employees to better understand themselves, strengthen their inner capacities and develop a positive approach towards both professional responsibilities and personal life. The sessions are being conducted by Master Trainer Poonam Sehrawat.
Among those present were Chief Education Officer Bhushan Kumar, Principals of Government Degree Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools, officers from the Health Department and various other departments.
