Continuing his weekly public outreach initiative, Jammu East Constituency MLA Yudhvir Sethi on Thursday held a Janata Darbar at Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Kachi Chawni, where he interacted with residents and listened to a wide range of public grievances concerning civic amenities, infrastructure, public services and other developmental issues.

People from different localities of the constituency attended the public hearing and placed their concerns before the MLA. After listening to each issue patiently, Yudhvir Sethi directed the concerned officers to ensure prompt action and resolve genuine grievances without unnecessary delay.

He also assured the people that every issue raised during the interaction would be followed up with the respective departments to ensure effective implementation. Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi reiterated his commitment to public service and responsive governance.

“Public service is my resolve, and the voice of the people remains my highest priority. Every Thursday, I hold this Janata Darbar to directly interact with citizens, understand their concerns and ensure that appropriate action is taken at the earliest.

The trust and cooperation of the people inspire me to work tirelessly for the development and welfare of Jammu East, and this commitment will continue with greater dedication,” Yudhvir Sethi said. Sethi emphasized that maintaining direct contact with the people enables him to better understand local needs and ensure that developmental works are carried out efficiently.

He said such interactions also help bridge the gap between the administration and the public while promoting transparency and accountability in governance. Residents appreciated the initiative, stating that the weekly Janata Darbar provides them with an accessible platform to raise issues directly before their elected representative.

They expressed confidence that the regular public interaction would further strengthen citizen participation and contribute to the overall development of Jammu East constituency.
