Punjab Public Works Minister S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. today chaired an important review meeting with officers and officials of the Public Works Department at the PSPCL Rest House, Amritsar, to assess the progress of various development works being undertaken in the Jandiala Guru Assembly Constituency. During the meeting, the Cabinet Minister reviewed the progress of ongoing road projects, bridges and other infrastructure development works being executed in the constituency. 

He directed the officials to expedite the pace of development works and ensure that all projects are completed within the stipulated time frame so that the public can benefit from them at the earliest. S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. said that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to strengthening the state’s infrastructure and providing better civic amenities to the people. 

He emphasized that no compromise would be tolerated with regard to the quality of development works. The Cabinet Minister issued clear instructions to the officials to personally visit project sites, regularly monitor the progress of construction works and ensure adherence to quality standards. 

He stressed that all development projects must be executed in accordance with prescribed specifications and with complete transparency. He further stated that meeting the expectations of the people remains the government's top priority and that any negligence in development works would not be tolerated. 

He directed officials to immediately address any issues or obstacles related to ongoing projects so that the pace of work is not affected. Senior officers and officials of the Public Works Department were present during the meeting.
