Demanding the Chief Minister's immediate resignation, BJP's Amritsar North leader Akshay Sharma on Wednesday said that anyone who has ever dared to challenge the authority of Sri Akal Takht has peeished. "There can never be any bigger contempt of our Sikh religious ethos and faith.

Nobody can be greater than Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and our Gurus Sahibs," Akshay Sharma said here while leading a protest march here this afternoon to demand CM resignation. "Anyone who has ever disrespected Sikh pride  has perished. Bhagwant Mann is on that path. He must resign and repent, he added.

The march was joined by hundreds of citizens demanding resignation of chief minister. The anger against CM and his immoral ways is palpable and Punjabis won't ever forgive him, Akshay added.
