Haryana Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, said that no society or nation can ever repay the debt owed to its soldiers who safeguard the motherland. However, governments remain committed to ensuring the welfare and protection of the interests of these brave personnel and their families.

He said that in line with this commitment, the Haryana Government has been continuously taking effective measures for the welfare of serving soldiers, ex-servicemen, personnel of paramilitary forces and their dependents.He informed that during the tenure of the present government, 420 dependents of martyred soldiers have been provided government employment. 

He further said that the one-time gallantry award amount for personnel of the Armed Police Forces and Agniveers will also be enhanced.The Minister said that the process of constructing Integrated Sainik Sadans is underway in Gurugram, Palwal, Panipat, Jhajjar, Nuh, Fatehabad, Jind, Narnaul and Rewari. A District Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Office has also been opened in Nuh. 

Besides this, proposals are under consideration for establishing a Military Museum in Rewari and a War Memorial at Nasibpur (Narnaul).Rao Narbir Singh said that Haryana has always been a land of brave soldiers. The youth of the state are rendering distinguished services not only in the Army, Navy and Air Force, but also in Central Armed Police Forces such as the BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles.
