Haryana Development and Panchayts Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, while presiding over the District Public Relations and Grievances Redressal Committee meeting in Kurukshetra on Tuesday, directed officers to suspend the manager of the Kirmach Cooperative Society again. He also directed the DR not to reinstate the manager until the inquiry is completed.
During the hearing of a complaint filed by Rajesh Sharma, a resident of village Kirmach, it came to light that the suspended manager had been reinstated despite the inquiry still being underway. In another case, the Minister directed that a case be registered against the coloniser of Ansal Sushant City and ordered a detailed investigation into every aspect of the matter.
In a separate complaint, he directed the police to expedite the arrest of two suspended inspectors of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department. Notably, of the 11 cases listed on the agenda, six were resolved on the spot, while directions were issued to committees and officials concerned for the disposal of the remaining five cases.
Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Vishram Kumar Meena and other dignitaries attended the meeting. Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar directed the DR to remove all individuals who had allegedly secured appointments in cooperative societies through irregular means.
He further directed that if any such person continued to work despite being removed, action should be initiated against the concerned officials. He also ordered a proper inquiry into the matter relating to The Kirmach Cooperative Society.
The Minister disposed of complaints relating to residents of Shastri Colony Ward No. 4, payment issues concerning sanitation workers, and grievances raised by Harsh Bawa of village Bilauna and Om Prakash of village Barwa.
Case to be Registered Against Ansal Sushant City Coloniser; Detailed Investigation Ordered
Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar heard the complaint submitted by residents of Ansal Sushant City and examined the report submitted by a committee headed by SDM. After reviewing the report and hearing the complainants, he observed that several shortcomings and deficiencies had surfaced on the part of the coloniser, causing considerable inconvenience to residents of the colony.
He directed that a case be registered against the coloniser at the earliest and that a comprehensive investigation be conducted into every aspect of the matter. He further said that a written recommendation regarding the pending works in the colony would be sent to the Director, Town and Country Planning Department.
Additionally, he directed the HSVP and the Public Health Engineering Department to constitute a committee and ensure that residents are provided with water supply and drainage facilities at the earliest. Based on the report submitted by SDM and the committee, the Minister also directed that proposals for development works worth Rs. 14 crore in the colony be forwarded to the DTP Headquarters.
Police Asked to Expedite Arrest of Two Suspended Inspectors
While hearing a complaint filed by Sonu Narang, a resident of Mahavir Colony, Ladwa, the Minister directed the police to expedite the arrest of two suspended inspectors of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department. He said that both inspectors had already been denied bail by the High Court. During the previous committee meeting, directions had been issued to include both officials in the investigation, however, at that time, proceedings relating to their bail applications were pending before the court.
Illegal Openings in Housing Board Park to be Closed, Concrete Structure to be Demolished
Acting on a complaint filed by a welfare society and a report submitted by a committee headed by SDM, Sh. Shambhu Rathi, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar directed that the illegally constructed gate and window opening into the Housing Board Sector-1 Shahabad Markanda park be sealed immediately.
He further ordered that the concrete slab constructed at the site be demolished. To prevent vehicles from entering the park, he directed that the size of the gate be reduced. Necessary steps were also ordered for the improvement and maintenance of the park.
Legal Action to Follow if Monetary Dispute Is Not Settled Within 15 Days
While hearing a complaint filed by Rajpal Khurana of Panipat, the Minister directed the police to initiate legal action if the parties concerned failed to settle the monetary dispute within 15 days. In another matter, he directed Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Vishram Kumar Meena to write to the Education Department regarding payment dues owed to a vendor and to issue reminders for follow-up so that the pending payment could be released.
Deputy Commissioner to Conduct Joint Site Inspection with Power Department
While hearing a complaint filed by Rajdev Kumar, a resident of Parshuram Colony, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar directed the Deputy Commissioner and the Power Department to conduct a joint site inspection. The complaint pertains to a request for shifting a 33 KV power line passing over a residential house under a government scheme.
The Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner, the Superintending Engineer (SE), the Executive Engineer (XEN) of the Power Department, and two committee members to inspect the site and submit a report regarding the matter. Thanesar MLA, Sh. Ashok Arora, Shahabad MLA, Sh. Ram Karan, Superintendent of Police, Sh. Chander Mohan, and other dignitaries also remained present during the meeting.
