Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation Chairman Dalvir Singh Dhillon today inaugurated development projects worth approximately ₹55 lakh in Village Badshahpur, reaffirming the Punjab Government's commitment to strengthening rural infrastructure and improving the quality of life in villages.

The projects include the construction of a modern sports ground at a cost of ₹25 lakh and the renovation of the village pond at a cost of ₹30 lakh. Chairman Dhillon formally launched both projects in the presence of local residents and village representatives.

Addressing the gathering, Dalvir Singh Dhillon said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is undertaking unprecedented efforts to ensure the holistic development of villages across the state. He noted that grants worth crores of rupees have been released to upgrade rural infrastructure, encourage sporting activities among youth, and provide better civic amenities to residents.

He emphasized that the progress of Punjab is closely linked to the development of its villages and that the state government is working tirelessly to ensure that every village benefits from modern infrastructure and improved public facilities. He added that development works are being carried out at a rapid pace across rural Punjab to fulfill the aspirations of the people and create better opportunities for future generations.

On the occasion, Sherpur Block Samiti Chairman Charan Singh, Sarpanch Jaswant Singh Badshahpur, members of the Gram Panchayat, village elders, and a large number of local residents were present.
