Union Minister of State and Member of Parliament from East Delhi Harsh Malhotra took over as the new president of city BJP, promising to make the party stronger and developing Delhi to pave the way for achieving Viksit Bharat@2047. “I am very grateful to the party’s top leadership for giving me such a big responsibility, and I will make every possible effort to fulfil it sincerely," said Malhotra.

BJP National President Nitin Nabin congratulating for his new innings, said: “Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Shri Harsh Malhotra ji on being appointed as the State President of BJP Delhi. Under the visionary leadership of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri@narendramodi ji, your experience and organizational skills will infuse new energy into the party in Delhi, and the works of public service will gain even stronger direction."

Outgoing Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said, “In our party, responsibilities keep changing. Today, Harsh Malhotra has been appointed as the Delhi state president. He is also our Member of Parliament and is very experienced. I believe that under his leadership, the party will move forward even further."

Malhotra also shared a message on X, “I met the respected National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shri @NitinNabin ji, and received his blessings, guidance, and affection for the new responsibility entrusted to me as the Delhi BJP State President”.

On this occasion, I expressed heartfelt thanks and gratitude to him. I conveyed my deepest gratitude from the heart to the respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji, the respected Home Minister Shri @AmitShah ji, and the party's top leadership for this important responsibility.”

“Under their inspiring guidance and capable leadership, I once again pledged to continuously work with complete dedication, commitment, and resolve to further strengthen the organization's ideology, the resolve for public service, and the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat and Viksit Delhi’, for the all-round development of Delhi and public welfare,” he said.
