Karamjit Singh Rintu, Chairman of the Improvement Trust Amritsar and in-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party for the North Assembly Constituency, today launched large-scale development projects in the constituency. Mr. Rintu initiated the renovation of the road from Gopal Mandir to Kashmir Avenue, Sahaj Enclave, and from there to Mall Road by laying premix. 

He also inaugurated development projects to pave all the streets in the Rishi Vihar area. Karamjit Singh Rintu stated that development work is ongoing in all the wards and panchayats of the North Assembly Constituency. Mr. Rintu stated that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab is providing all kinds of facilities to the people.  

He said that today, under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme, pilgrims were sent off for the holy pilgrimage from Batala Road. This scheme launched by the Punjab government to encourage people to visit religious places is a commendable initiative. 

He added that buses carrying pilgrims are regularly being sent to religious places from the North Assembly constituency under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme. Karamjit Singh Rintu stated that all basic amenities are being provided to the people. 

He added that the construction of roads will make transportation easy and comfortable for the people of the area. "Our main priority is the continuous implementation of development works according to the needs of the people. 

This development work has been initiated keeping in mind the long-standing demand of the people of the area." Senior Deputy Mayor Priyanka Sharma, Aam Aadmi Party ward in-charges, and prominent people from the area were present on the occasion.
