Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Angad Deep Singh Sohal has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Tarn Taran Zila Parishad. On this historic occasion, MLA from Khemkaran Sarwan Singh Dhun was also present.
On this occasion, Chairman Sohal expressed confidence in the development-oriented policies of the Bhagwant Mann government and said that in the Zila Parishad elections, all the members of the Parishad had voted in favour of the Aam Aadmi Party, thereby endorsing the works being carried out by the government. He thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the entire party leadership for this victory and said that he would work day and night for the development of the area.
Sohal said that his first priority would be to further accelerate development works in villages and strengthen rural infrastructure. On this occasion, other party leaders and elected members of the Zila Parishad were present in large numbers.
