Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government continues its focused efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery and ensure accessible, quality medical services for all. In line with this commitment, OSD Sukhvir Singh visited the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Dhuri today to review on-ground arrangements and assess service delivery.
During the visit, OSD Sukhvir Singh interacted with patients and their attendants to gather firsthand feedback regarding the healthcare facilities being provided. He also held discussions with doctors and hospital staff, reviewing the functioning of various departments and emphasizing the need for efficient and patient-centric services.
Highlighting the government’s priorities, he stated that health and education remain at the forefront of Punjab Government’s agenda, and continuous efforts are being made to enhance infrastructure and service standards across healthcare institutions. He stressed that patients should receive timely and hassle-free treatment, and any gaps in service delivery must be addressed promptly. OSD Sukhvir Singh also appreciated the langar service being run at the hospital by the Sarb Bharti Seva Samiti, describing it as a commendable humanitarian initiative that offers comfort and support to patients and their families.
On the occasion, Waqf Board member Dr. Anwar Bhasaur, Pushpinder Sharma, Naresh Singla, Ranjodh Singh, President Rakesh Kumar Garg, Pyara Chand, Kamaljeet Singh, Sukhwinder Kanjhla, Harpreet Singh Dhillon, Shiv Kumar, and Advocate Happy Garg, along with others, were present.
