Reaffirming the Punjab Government’s commitment to promoting industry and trade under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, OSD Sukhvir Singh held a detailed interaction with members of the Pipe Association in Dhuri. The meeting focused on understanding the challenges faced by traders engaged in PVC pipe manufacturing and exploring solutions to strengthen the sector.

During the interaction, members of the association highlighted key concerns affecting their operations, including GST-related issues, electricity tariffs, labour availability, transportation costs, and excise/stamp duty. OSD Sukhvir Singh listened attentively and assured that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt and effective resolution.

He emphasized that the Punjab Government has been consistently working towards creating a business-friendly ecosystem that encourages investment, supports industrial growth, and generates employment opportunities. He further stated that addressing the concerns of traders on priority remains a key focus area of the government.

Highlighting the importance of direct engagement, OSD Sukhvir Singh noted that such interactions help in understanding ground-level challenges and enable the government to frame responsive and practical policies. He reiterated that the government is committed to accelerating industrial development and ensuring that stakeholders receive the necessary support.

Prominent members of the Pipe Association present on the occasion included Tarsem Lal Kansal, Sanjeev Kansal, Sumit Kansal, Suren Kansal, Siddharth Kansal, Sandeep Bansal, Rakesh Kumar, Deepak Jindal, Gagan Kansal, Tarun Kansal, Davinder Gupta, Amit Tayal, and Umesh Sharma, along with other members.
