OSD to the Chief Minister, Sukhvir Singh, today welcomed a large number of residents from Dhuri Ward No. 7 into the Aam Aadmi Party and said that development works worth approximately ₹1.54 crore are currently progressing at a fast pace in the ward. He added that the momentum will be further intensified to ensure modern civic amenities reach every street and neighbourhood.

Highlighting the government’s pro-people initiatives, he said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has consistently fulfilled its guarantees and delivered relief to all sections of society. He noted that the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme is providing robust health security, while Aam Aadmi Clinics are ensuring free, accessible and quality healthcare services for citizens.

He further stated that schemes such as the Chief Minister ‘Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana’ are playing a significant role in strengthening women’s economic empowerment. In addition, the provision of 600 units of free electricity to domestic consumers has brought substantial relief to households. 

He emphasized that the government has introduced transformative reforms in key sectors including education, healthcare, power, and infrastructure. Appealing to the public, Sukhvir Singh urged residents to ensure a resounding victory for Aam Aadmi Party candidates in the upcoming Municipal Council elections, so that the pace of development can be accelerated even further.

Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion included Chairman of Punjab Gau Sewa Commission Ashok Lakhha, Anil Mittal, Member of Punjab Waqf Board Dr. Anwar Bhasaur, Chairman Pushpinder Sharma, Director Markfed Jaspal Singh Bhullar, Naresh Singla, Soni Bansal, Balwinder Billu, Rajiv Chaudhary, Ramandeep Singh, Veer Bhan, Makhan Ji and Simran, along with a large number of local residents.
