The British Laureate School celebrated World Earth Day 2026 with great enthusiasm, embracing this year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet.” The event was organized with the aim of raising environmental awareness and encouraging students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.

Director-Principal Dr. Colonel Atul Bhandari shared that the celebration featured a special student-led presentation, which effectively highlighted the importance of protecting the environment. The act conveyed a powerful message that individual efforts, when combined, can create a meaningful and lasting impact.

Classrooms were transformed into vibrant and engaging spaces, showcasing eco-friendly crafts, informative posters, and creative displays focused on sustainability and conservation. The activities reflected the students’ awareness and commitment towards environmental protection.

Students were sensitized to the harmful effects of plastic and motivated to reduce its usage in their everyday lives. They also took a pledge to maintain cleanliness by avoiding littering in public spaces, including roads and water bodies.

Teachers played a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring the students. They emphasized the importance of planting trees, conserving natural resources, and working collectively to safeguard the planet.

The event concluded on an inspiring note, reinforcing the message of environmental responsibility. It encouraged young learners to become conscious citizens and active contributors towards building a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future for all.
