British Laureate School, Mohali, celebrated its First Annual Concert with grandeur  and enthusiasm under the theme “British Fusion – Bringing the World Closer.” The event highlighted the core essence of Cambridge education, showcasing how global learning can be seamlessly integrated with rich cultural values.

The celebration commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony graced by Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice-Chairman Gurinder Singh Bahra, Ravi Palia, Group Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor Satish Kumar, and Director-Principal of British Laureate School, Dr. Colonel Atul Bhandari.

The cultural showcase featured a series of captivating dance performances where students presented both global and Indian art forms with elegance, discipline, and vibrant energy. Each performance reflected the school's vision of harmonizing international exposure with deep cultural roots—a true hallmark of the Cambridge curriculum.

Director-Principal Dr. Colonel Atul Bhandari addressed the gathering, followed by insightful remarks from Group Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar and an inspiring speech by Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra. They praised the exceptional talent of the students and congratulated the teachers and the entire BLS staff for their dedication and for achieving a remarkable milestone in the inaugural year of British Laureate School, Mohali.

A major highlight of the evening was the electrifying performance by renowned Punjabi singer Jelly, whose dynamic presence energized the audience. Students enthusiastically joined him on stage, adding charm and making the evening truly unforgettable.

The First Annual Concert concluded on a note of pride, joy, and celebration of learning, symbolizing British Laureate School’s commitment to global-mindedness, cultural harmony, and academic excellence.
