In a proactive step towards addressing the concerns of the trading community, Chairman of Punjab Traders Commission (Dhuri), Pushpinder Sharma, today raised key issues faced by traders in the Dhuri constituency during a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Sangrur, Rahul Chaba.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman and members of the District Traders Commission, along with senior officials from various departments. Highlighting the concerns of traders, Pushpinder Sharma informed that issues gathered during a series of recent interactions with traders across Dhuri were systematically compiled and presented before the concerned departments.

He emphasized that these matters require priority attention and must be resolved within a stipulated timeframe to ensure uninterrupted business operations. He pointed out that the majority of grievances pertain to the Municipal Council, Police Department, Electricity Department, DFSC, and DMO.

Urging swift action, he called upon officials to work in close coordination and ensure prompt and effective resolution of these issues. Sharma further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has constituted the Punjab Traders Commission with the objective of creating a business-friendly environment.

He noted that the Commission serves as a vital link between traders and the administration, ensuring that their concerns are effectively communicated and addressed. Reaffirming his commitment, he assured that all genuine demands of traders from the Dhuri area will be taken up with the administration and resolved in a timely manner, and no trader will be left unheard.

He also emphasized that such consultative meetings will be held regularly to maintain direct engagement with traders and facilitate swift grievance redressal. Among those present at the meeting were SP Rajesh Chhibber, Assistant Commissioner Rajbir Singh Bhullar, Chairman of District Traders Commission Arun Kumar, along with officials from various departments and members of the District Traders Commission.
