Today, Aam Aadmi Party’s state chief spokesperson, MLA, and former cabinet minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that during the month of April, which begins today, special camps will formally be organized in Ajnala under the leadership of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar, the SDM Ajnala, and revenue department officials. Through these camps, the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has geared up to hand over ownership documents to the affected farmers cultivating fertile lands under the categories of *‘Panahi Kadim,’ ‘Malguzar,’ and ‘Muafidar.’

Mr. Dhaliwal was addressing influential public meetings today under the campaign *“Four Glorious Years with Bhagwant Mann”* in the villages of Sahowal, Dial Bhatti, Anaitpura, Aliwal Kotli, Nanakpura, Gujarpura, Gurala, and Jagdev Khurd. These meetings were aimed at direct interaction with farmers, laborers, and rural residents, as well as mobilizing public support for the state government.

Mr. Dhaliwal said that after Independence, from 1952 till March 2022, for nearly 75 years, the former traditional parties that remained in power in Punjab and claimed to be pro-farmer — namely the Congress and Akali-BJP governments — had cruelly deprived *6,344 farmers* of ownership rights over *10,181 kanals* of fertile land falling under the categories of Panahi Kadim, Malguzar, and Muafidar in various villages of the Ajnala assembly constituency.

He further stated that while serving as a cabinet minister in the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, he had raised the issue of ownership rights for these categories of land during a cabinet meeting. In that very meeting, a resolution was passed and a historic decision was taken to grant ownership rights to the affected farmers.

He announced that the official identification of lands under these categories in the constituency has already been completed, and revenue department officials have been instructed to quickly prepare the documents so that ownership papers can be handed over to the affected farmers as soon as the process is completed.

During the same period, public meetings were also held in the villages of Talwandi Nahar, Boharwala, Heler, Makowal, Gaurenangal, Urdhan, and Jassar to mobilize support for the people-centric achievements of the Mann government. Addressing these gatherings, constituency education coordinator and senior women leader Advocate Amandeep Kaur Dhaliwal said that during its first four years, the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made significant achievements in the areas of *women’s welfare, education, healthcare, overall development, and public welfare schemes.*

She added that the administrative steps taken to eliminate drug abuse and gangsterism far surpass the achievements of the previous Congress and Akali-BJP governments, whose performance in comparison is almost *ground zero.*
