District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, today conducted a thorough assessment of the ongoing widening work along Baramulla-Uri stretch of National Highway NH1. During the visit, the DDC inspected several key locations along the national highway and took stock of the pace and quality of work being executed. 

The DDC was accompanied by officers and engineers from the concerned executing agencies, who briefed him about the current status of the project, including physical progress, timelines, and challenges being faced on the ground.

While reviewing the progress, S.F. Hamid underscored the importance of adhering to the set timelines and maintaining quality standards so that the public can benefit at the earliest. The DDC further instructed all concerned departments to work in close coordination and resolve any issues on priority to prevent disruptions in the execution of the project.
